Mary Amalia Vásquez Murillo
CO-FOUNDER & CEO
An economist and strategist specializing in internationalization, sustainability, and tourism, with 30 years of experience leading high-impact initiatives in the public sector, international cooperation, and business development.
She has served as Vice President of Planning at PROCOLOMBIA, Head of Planning at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism on two occasions, Colombia’s trade delegate to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, Country Director of Swisscontact in Colombia, and Representative for Latin America of the Swiss import promotion program, SIPPO. She also served as a negotiator for the cooperation chapters of Colombia’s free trade agreements with Canada, the European Union, and the EFTA countries.
Her career spans trade policy, export promotion, institutional strengthening, interagency coordination, sustainable value chains, and the international management and promotion of destinations. She holds a degree in economics from the National University of Colombia, a master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and a specialization in Economic Development from the Graduate Institute in Geneva. She is trilingual in Spanish, French, and English.
